The Band
Singer sam - Vocals
Our award winning singer and acoustic guitarist joined Re-Branded in June 2008 and has been hitting all the right notes for us since. Sam also performs solo and writes her own music - see this link for pics and samples of her music:

"Hi, I'm a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from Nottinghamshire. I studied for a Music degree at Ripon & York St John and spent some time in Malmo, Sweden where I studied performance. The Guitar and voice are my main instruments and I play both Classical and Acoustic guitar.
I took to songwriting shortly after Uni, and with the encouragement of friends in Sheffield went out on the open mic circuit, namely 'The Deepend' amongst other venues. So an old swimming pool is where I first aired my songs.
I currently produce all my demos myself, sometimes an arduous and frustrating task dealing with computer music technology and audio sequencers. I don't profess to be the best producer but I think the essence of my musical ideas come across and I'm always trying to improve on something. Most recently I've played in Sheffield at the Millenium Galleries during various exhibitions and events; Lincoln - at BBC Radio Lincolnshire for the 10K Run; Harrogate, and London. In December 2008 I won the Stray FM Harrogate Star Search Competition, a really amazing experience and great confidence booster having performed at the Final at the Royal Hall, Harrogate in front of 800 people :-) Currently working on new songs, recording, entering talent contests and gigging in the East Midlands."

Johnny B Dynamite - Lead Guitar
Our talented lead guitarist from Sheffield - a.k.a Johnny B Dynamite - played a vital role in the relaunch of the band as Re-Branded in 2006. He is known especially for his blistering fretwork, and seems to effortlessly hit solo after solo - especially on Sweet Child O' Mine. John's signature sound is not to be missed.

Ricky Fingers - Bass
Delboy beatz - Drums
Derek initially stepped from behind the kit to front the band for a party in Willingham by Stow in June 2011 before filling in at Retford Galway Arms in 2016 and again at BBC Radio Lincolnshire for the annual 10K
We were very grateful to Delboy for filling in for us for all our summer gigs in 2019 and helping to record our 2019/20 EP ( see the Demo link ) and we are very happy that Del has agreed to takeover fulltime on the tubs since Gerry has hung up his sticks.
Derek brings a wealth of experience - having previously taken lead vocals with Honey Trap and then with backing and occasional lead vocals with The North. Adds both lead & backing vocals for us
Chris "Special" K - More Guitar
Our newest member though bringing plenty of experience and a loud amp. Chris makes a big difference - he adds not only volume but tone and texture - very happy to have him on board
wHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
Gerry - Drums
AKA Tub Thumper - Gerry started drumming with The Bransby Mares along with Mick in 1998(ish) and knocks out a steady beat all night.
After taking most of 2019 off to recuperate after surgery & then Micky's retirement Gerry has also decided to hang up his rhythm sticks. We shall miss Gerry not only for his drumming but also for his humour & good spirits. He has been a great asset to the band and there was absolutely no chance of trading him in for a drum machine. |
"Mad" Mick "Hoppo" Hopkinson - Rythm Guitar
A founder member (along with Gerry) - helped form our wall of sound and kept the fun of playing well and truly alive. Hoppo returned to Re-Branded at the beginning of 2013 after a brief break but has finally hung up his faithful guitar ( 'Annie) and has retired.in September 2019. All of us at Re-Branded wish him well.

lISA Thorne mCvEIGH
Nicola Thompson
Our first gig after Lisa left was at The Bransby Summer Bash, when both Sam & Nicky joined us for the show. Nicky has also filled in for Sam a couple of times since then (& seen to the right at The White Swan, Market Rasen 2013). Boasting a powerful vocal range - you can usually catch Nicky singing with Pelham Road.

"Dangerous" Dave Duffy
Rowan Diskin
Michael “Cozy” Powell
2014 was a particularly tough time for Re-Branded. Gerry had to take some time off to recover from surgery. We were only able to continue through the year due to the huge talent that is Michael Powell stepping in for us between February and August last year. You may/may not catch him at The Rock Haven jam nights on a Thursday. Who’re we kidding – he’s always there :)
