August was brilliant - wasn't it?

The White Swan is one of my favourite places to play & we had a brilliant night again.  I'm really looking forward to playing there again for a pre-Christmas gig.  Reckon it'll be a night to look forward to :)

It  was good to be back at The Mill House in Worksop with Dave Duffy filling in magnificently on guitar - we have a brief clip of Bad Case of Loving You on our Facebook page - give it a look.

The Half Moon Beer Festival - poor ol' Mick missed another brilliant night in Willingham by Stow - loking forward to playing at the Village Hall again next month at Halloween

Check out our gig page for upcoming events - we're having our busiest year so far & look forward to seeing you there soon :)

Scorching Hot Summer At Last!

Been a time for change so far in June & July - Rowan Smales joined us at The Pheasantry where we had a great time at their beer festival on a lovely Summer's day.  It's a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. We didn't have time to eat while there but the food looked fantastic & (as we were driving) we only had a little of the real ale but the bitter I had was good - go along & try it for yourself

Johnny B Dynamite & Rick had a great night last week at Market Rasen Race Course playing for The North and raising loadsa money for a really good cause.  We played a mix of North & Re-Branded songs & was really good to play the same songs slightly differently. Johnny did a great job - I can hardly believe we got him to play a Bruno Mars song (we'll be doing Abba again with Re-Branded if we're not careful )

It's gong to be a busy August - we're out at The The White Swan on 10th August when Jand then The Mill House in Worksop Town on 11th. We're looking forward to playing with Diamond Dave Duffy with Re-Branded at The Mill House in Worksop on 11th August.  It's same songs but slightly differently done. Dave has played with us before at the Lincoln 10K a few years ago and had formerly been playing for Frixion. We might even have some time to try a few of their songs too.

Finally, on 17th August we're really happy to be back at the Half Moon, Willingham by Stow playing at the beer festival - it's always a great event and we're getting as many songs as possible ready for a long night

If you're going to be around any of those dates come along - we'd love to see you there
First up we're at Saxilby Pavilion on 3rd.  John's away so we'll be joined by Diamond Dave Duffy on guitar -

Back from The Waterfront in Worksop - thankyou everyone that turned up & helped us have a great time - especially my blonde dancer on & Nation Army :).

Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Looking forward to our next gig in June at The Pheasantry Brewery, East Markham - not far from Worksop or Retford so come down.

We're sorry that John won't be able to play but we will be ably assisted on the night by Rowan Smales.

Rowan also plays in The North https://www.facebook.com/TheNorthPartyBand with Rick and also Soul Destinationhttps://www.facebook.com/soul.destination.nottingham?fref=pb&hc_location=profile_browser and so we will be bringing you a good mix of rock'n'pop songs as usual.

The Pheasantry are holding their festival from Thursday 20th June to Sunday 23rd June. We're playing on the Friday - why not make a weekend of it?  Enjoy a good range of excellent beers and entertainment.

Beer Festival & Family Weekend
Thursday 20 June - Sunday 23 June

20+ beers and 6 ciders
Live Music · Barbecue · Souvenir Glass
Kid’s Activities · Large Beer Garden

£2 Entry · CAMRA members free · Kids free

Thu 20 June (6pm - 11pm), Fri 21 (12pm - 11pm)

This will be a family event, with something for everyone, including a barbecue and live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and Zorbs, a bouncy castle and children’s games in the beer garden.
Mary Easterbrook, who set up the brewery and restaurant with husband Mark, and whose family has farmed in the area for generations, said

We have had fantastic support for both the brewery and the restaurant from local families, so we are looking forward to celebrating our first anniversary with them.
Two local bands will be playing in the evenings - Lincoln band Rebranded on Friday night, and Retford cover band the Vinegar Strokes on Saturday night.
Six of the Pheasantry Brewery’s beers, including Pheasantry Pilsner and the summer special Dancing Dragonfly, will be available, plus numerous guest ales and ciders.
The Pilsner has recently been launched in the Pheasantry bar and is proving to be a great success with customers. All of the Pheasantry beers are available in bottles in the newly opened Beer Shop, alongside mini-kegs, gift packs and t-shirts.

Re-Branded are very happy to announce that we'll be playing at Saxilby Pavilion on 3rd August :)

August is a very busy month for us and we're sorry that John can't make it for this show...However we are glad to confirm that Dave Duffy will be lending us his considerable lead guitar talents on the night.

Dave has played with us before (at Lincoln 10K in 2009) - come along - the sound will be a little different & we have some fine new tunes too.

Re-Branded are looking forward a busy couple of months playing around the Worksop area.  Come to see us next at The Waterfront in Worksop on Saturday 18th May (apparently Hoppo's dad used to drink there when he was a nipper).

I couldn't find their website but I did find this:

and this:

We're looking forward to returning in June to (fairly) nearby to play first at The Pheasantry in East Markham where all are welcome to come and party.  We will then be back in Worksop at the Ambassador Rooms to play at a private party.

So, good people of Worksop, come along. Have a beer or two, have a dance, laugh and generally have a good night with us. We're looking forward to playing - we have some new tunes for you too. Hope to see you there

Willingham by Stow 13/04/2013

It was a really good night for us in Willingham by Stow last night (though Sam could've done with a shandy!). Thankyou to Dorothy and her family for making us welcome and we hope you all had as good a night as we did. When I was a boy I'm sure 70 year old ladies were much older than Dorothy - maybe 70 is the new 50?

We should also take some time thank Lincoln City Radio/BBC Radio Lincolnshire top DJ Mr Dave Bussey for sorting out the stage lighting for us. A big thankyou to him - it made a big difference for us.

Re-Branded are very happy to confirm that we will be playing at the Half Moon Beer Festival in Willingham by Stow on Saturday 17th August. The festival will be running from Thursday night through to Sunday. It's a really great place to go for Phil's own Grafters Real Ale. Live entertainment each night - see the link below for the Half Moon - why not come and join us, sample some great beers and have a good time?

I've added a few pics from last night - hope you like them.

We look forward to adding some more dates to our upcoming gig list soon.

Lincoln 10K

We're fresh back from the Lincoln 10K - we have been lucky enough to have another dry & sunny day.  Well done to all the runners taking part (there were quite a few dancers again this year).  Thankyou to everyone who gave us a wave or a thumbs up - we hope you all got back and have recovered.

Billy Whizz posted a video of Sex On Fire to our Facebook page - lots of people going past - see if you can spot yourself.  It's not the greatest sound quality but lots of people were having fun.  We will post this year's pics soon.

It was a pleasure for us to see Melvyn Prior compering the event again this year - see his twitter https://twitter.com/melvynprior  for more info from him.

We tried out 4 new songs - likely to be new regulars in the set this year, hope you all like them.  Please let us know what songs you'd like us to add (e-mail/twitter links at the top of the page)

We are looking forward to playing a private party next week in Willingham by Stow.  One of our favourite plaes to play & we hope to have lots of fun there.

Look out for further gig updates soon - best wishes from

Lincoln 10K

It doesn't seem 1 year since we last played at the Lincoln 10K and we've only just posted the pictures!

This will be our 5th time there - Melvyn Prior will be back compering and offering support to runners.  The Radio Lincolnshire team are always well organized and we'd like to thank them for looking after us well with plenty of hot tea/coffee between songs.

We look forward to playing some new songs for the first time - hopefully the weather will pick up and there will be plenty of supporters out to help them on their way.  If you're running we will see you at about 3K so you should plenty of energy left for the rest of the race (we often see people stop for a brief dance).

I expect we'll get there in plenty of time and Billy usually gets our bacon butties for us before the event starts (thanks) - though we don't recommend this as a pre-race meal for runners...

The Lincoln 10K will be held on Sunday 7th April this year.

See this link for details:

Good luck to all the runners

Good news to start 2013 - Re-Branded welcomed Mick Hoppo back on board this year after he took the last half of 2012 off. He finally relented after 6 months of nagging and dusted the ol' Ibanez down to rejoin us.

To get us all back in the swing of things we kicked off playing The Great Australian Breakfast on Sunday 27th January. This was the 22nd year the event has been held and was opened by the Mayor of Lincoln and compered by our favourite Radio Lincolnshire DJ Melvyn Prior (we'll be seeing him again shortly at the Lincoln 10K). All the proceeds from the event were split between St Barnabas Hospice, Children In Need and the Nomad Trust. The event was very well attended - it was amazing to see just how much hard work was put into it by all the volunteers and organizers. We'd love to play there again & hope to see you there next year - it's a good family morning with local brass bands, jugglers, stiltsmen and even a didgeridoo player.

You can see a selection of pics on this site:

http://www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk/pictures/Great-Australian-Breakfast-Lincoln-2013/pictures-17978177-detail/pictures.html#axzz2N2891SlR

Unfortunately I think the photographer must've had too many sausages & bacon and left by the time we played although I've added a long distance shot I found posted.

Our next outing this year was again at short notice when our friends in "The North" were unable to play at the White Swan in Market Rasen on 2nd March. We played and had a great time. Thankyou to everyone who came down - hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Thanks also to Nicky (from The North) who joined us for 2 songs in the second set. Thanks also to Tina who let us play til just after curfew. See photos for a few pics from the night. Hope to see you all there again in August.

You can also see The North on http://www.thenorthmusic.co.uk/

We're just starting to take bookings for the rest of the year - currently booked for:

7th April Lincoln 10k
13th April Willingham by Stow
22nd June Worksop Ambassador rooms
10th August Market Rasen White Swan

but will be adding more dates throughout the year. Hope to see you there!
