It's been a really good start to the year - we've started by playing 2 of our favourite venues (Greendale Oak & Galway Arms) and playing our 9th Lincoln 10K outside the BBC Radio Lincolnshire - compered by Charlie (The Boss) this year :)

We're looking forward to celebrating 10 years as Re~Branded this year and getting started next week with our first gig for a while at The Half Moon in Willingham. Check our our gig list - looking good for the first 6 months - will add more later in the year.
We have been busy working on some new songs too - got some David Bowie/Billy Idol/Adelle/Tom Petty/Tina Turner almost ready & looking forward to playing them for you :) Been great getting busy again this year.
First time in Retford at the Galway Arms (looking forward to playing there again in October) and then The White Lion in June. Was great going back to The Sun Inn, Saxilby this month too. Summer's coming & we're getting out - sorry to miss the Half Moon Beer Festival with Re-Branded this year (see most of The North there on Friday 14th August) but will be good to play in Worksop at The Mill House again at the end of the month. Back in Worksop at The Frog & Nightgown September 19th - first time there :) Here comes the Summer April already & we've managed to play a new venue (Galway Arms) & revisit some old favourites again (Lincoln 10K, & Marsh Lane). We're really looking forward to June when we're heading to The Sun Inn, Saxilby (always a venue we look forward to) and heading back to Retford again on the 13th to The White Lion.
A short break before we look forward to playing at The Frog & Nightgown where we will be joined by Mike "Cozy" Powell. It'll be good to see him again & play in Worksop - hometown gig for Sam. We like to be busy :) - see you soon Been a long time since we Rock'n'Rolled but Re-Branded will be back at the Lincoln 10K this year on March 22nd.
We look forward to seeing all the usual suspects there (that'll be Melvin Prior together with about 5000 runners & spectators). We have the regular line-up back in business and practicing hard to bring you some new tunes & will be looking to get busy again soon. In the mean time, why not check out our Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/Rebranded1 Wow - it's the middle of January already! Overdue an update & so here it is :)
After a few heath issues we were back at The Kings Head in Louth on 4th January - what a great place to play - even on a cold, wet Lincolnshire night. A special thankyou to Disco Pete Kent & family for making the trip & also good to see Claire Allsop too. Bit of a trip for John & Sam but worth the extra miles. Looking forward to getting back to the Butchers, Marsh Lane on 25th now August was brilliant - wasn't it?
The White Swan is one of my favourite places to play & we had a brilliant night again. I'm really looking forward to playing there again for a pre-Christmas gig. Reckon it'll be a night to look forward to :) It was good to be back at The Mill House in Worksop with Dave Duffy filling in magnificently on guitar - we have a brief clip of Bad Case of Loving You on our Facebook page - give it a look. The Half Moon Beer Festival - poor ol' Mick missed another brilliant night in Willingham by Stow - loking forward to playing at the Village Hall again next month at Halloween Check out our gig page for upcoming events - we're having our busiest year so far & look forward to seeing you there soon :) Been a time for change so far in June & July - Rowan Smales joined us at The Pheasantry where we had a great time at their beer festival on a lovely Summer's day. It's a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. We didn't have time to eat while there but the food looked fantastic & (as we were driving) we only had a little of the real ale but the bitter I had was good - go along & try it for yourself Johnny B Dynamite & Rick had a great night last week at Market Rasen Race Course playing for The North and raising loadsa money for a really good cause. We played a mix of North & Re-Branded songs & was really good to play the same songs slightly differently. Johnny did a great job - I can hardly believe we got him to play a Bruno Mars song (we'll be doing Abba again with Re-Branded if we're not careful ) It's gong to be a busy August - we're out at The The White Swan on 10th August when Jand then The Mill House in Worksop Town on 11th. We're looking forward to playing with Diamond Dave Duffy with Re-Branded at The Mill House in Worksop on 11th August. It's same songs but slightly differently done. Dave has played with us before at the Lincoln 10K a few years ago and had formerly been playing for Frixion. We might even have some time to try a few of their songs too. Finally, on 17th August we're really happy to be back at the Half Moon, Willingham by Stow playing at the beer festival - it's always a great event and we're getting as many songs as possible ready for a long night If you're going to be around any of those dates come along - we'd love to see you there First up we're at Saxilby Pavilion on 3rd. John's away so we'll be joined by Diamond Dave Duffy on guitar - Back from The Waterfront in Worksop - thankyou everyone that turned up & helped us have a great time - especially my blonde dancer on & Nation Army :).
Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We're sorry that John won't be able to play but we will be ably assisted on the night by Rowan Smales. Rowan also plays in The North https://www.facebook.com/TheNorthPartyBand with Rick and also Soul Destinationhttps://www.facebook.com/soul.destination.nottingham?fref=pb&hc_location=profile_browser and so we will be bringing you a good mix of rock'n'pop songs as usual. Dave has played with us before (at Lincoln 10K in 2009) - come along - the sound will be a little different & we have some fine new tunes too. Re-Branded are looking forward a busy couple of months playing around the Worksop area. Come to see us next at The Waterfront in Worksop on Saturday 18th May (apparently Hoppo's dad used to drink there when he was a nipper).
I couldn't find their website but I did find this: http://smatched.com/index.php/venues/view/Worksop-Retford/The-Waterfront/132 and this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2nensKDVA4 We're looking forward to returning in June to (fairly) nearby to play first at The Pheasantry in East Markham where all are welcome to come and party. We will then be back in Worksop at the Ambassador Rooms to play at a private party. So, good people of Worksop, come along. Have a beer or two, have a dance, laugh and generally have a good night with us. We're looking forward to playing - we have some new tunes for you too. Hope to see you there |
